NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory and the ESA's XMM Newton Observatory spot a dip in X-ray intensity as HD 189733b crosses its parent star - giving the artist the excuse to show us what a "hot Jupiter" planet system could look like. This world, around the same size as Jupiter but 30 times closer to the sun, orbits every 2.2 days. Chandra also spotted that the system has a second star, which goes around the sun about once every 3,200 years! Get the full story from the space agency's website here.
